Pride Month is a key date in the MHA calendar as each year we support not only our LGBTQ+ colleagues, but also our wider communities, through a variety of informative and charitable activities.
This year’s activities were based around two key events.
On Thursday 13th June the firm welcomed Anisha Doshi from Business in the Community who delivered a webinar to more than 80 colleagues exploring the topic of allyship and how we as individuals can help promote LGBTQ+ inclusion.
This was then followed on Thursday 20th June, more than 100 colleagues across 11 offices came together to raise money for the Albert Kennedy Trust to compete in an interactive LGBTQ+ themed virtual quiz, with topics including history, tv and film, music, sport, and flags.
The Albert Kennedy Trust is a UK based charity that provides support services to young people from the LGBTQ+ community who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or living in hostile environments.
All activities were organised by the firm’s Pride Network, a group of colleagues who support and coordinate firmwide LGBTQ+ activities throughout the year.
