National accountancy and business advisory firm MHA, the UK member firm of Baker Tilly International, has promoted Liam Hammond to partner within their Leicester office’s audit team.
Celebrating nearly two decades with the firm, Liam joined as an audit trainee in 2006 and has steadily progressed through the team ultimately leading to a director level promotion in October 2020 and now partner.
His client portfolio ranges from small owner-managed businesses to large multinational groups across diverse industries and sectors, including distribution and logistics, pharmaceuticals and hospitality. He also specialises in pension scheme audits, offering in-depth knowledge and assurance to trustees and stakeholders. Liam brings extensive expertise and a tailored approach to each and every engagement.
Shelley Harvey, engagement partner for the Midlands region and fellow audit partner in MHA’s Leicester office said:
“Liam’s promotion comes hot on the heels of those of Sally Burford and Sam Hyman-Charlesworth who became audit directors late last year.

Within his new remit Liam becomes a key member of the firm’s senior management team for the Midlands region, which includes Birmingham and Leicester.
