The Thames Valley office of national accountancy and business advisory firm MHA, the UK member firm of Baker Tilly International, has got into the Easter spirit in support of local charity Berkshire Vision.

Following Connect Reading’s ‘Giving Tree’ initiative in late 2024, the firm were matched with Berkshire Vision, a local charity who provide invaluable practical support, sports and activities to visually impaired children and adults, and their families in the Berkshire area.

This initial pairing led to the firm donating more than 60 Christmas gifts to the charity. However, the relationship has since blossomed further with MHA staff donating more than 40 Easter Eggs, which will be given to the children and young people the charity supports.

Ben Coleman, audit director in MHA’s Thames Valley office said:

We are a people first firm which prides itself on being at the heart of our communities.
We were delighted to be paired with Berkshire Vision and not only have we continued to be able to support the charity, a cause that is very close to the firms’ hearts, but they have also visited us to share their knowledge and expertise with our people, growing the relationship even further.”

Laura Mitchell, Chief Executive Officer at Berkshire Vision, said:

We are incredibly grateful for the generous support from MHA, as a charity partner and with their efforts in collecting Easter eggs.
Contributions like these not only bring joy but also highlight the importance of community support and making a meaningful impact. Support from organisations such as MHA is essential in helping us continue our life changing work and we look forward to strengthening this partnership and working together on future initiatives.”
