National accountancy and business advisory firm MHA, the UK member firm of Baker Tilly International, has strengthened its audit offering within the East Midlands area with a duo of senior promotions within their Leicester office.
Sally Burford and Sam Hyman-Charlesworth have both been promoted to directors within the Leicester offices audit team.
Sally has been with the firm for nearly 20 years, where within her role she provides audit services in the automotive, transport and logistics, manufacturing and engineering, education and not for profit sectors, including academies, multi academy trusts, colleges, charities, subsidiaries of overseas parent companies and owner manager businesses within a wide variety of sectors.
Sam joins Sally as audit director and has been with the firm since 2012 where he joined as a graduate. He collaborates closely with clients to understand their business and their goals, to ensure that a professional service is delivered to the highest quality and manages a portfolio of corporate clients, ranging from owner managed small-medium companies through to large multi-national groups with tight statutory reporting requirements.
Following their promotions Sally and Sam will now join audit partner Shelley Harvey and fellow audit director Liam Hammond within the Leicester offices senior audit management team. Similar to Sam, Liam is another example of a member of the team who joined as a trainee and has progressed to director level today.
