Our September 2024 Finance Directors Update Course is now available to watch on demand.
These courses provide 3 hours of CPD and take place every 6 months. They are designed to keep your technical knowledge up to date to help you comply with the ever-changing regulatory environment in the worlds of Financial Reporting and Tax. They are relevant to all FDs and CFOs, but are particularly aimed at those involved with businesses using IFRS and slightly larger entities using UK GAAP.

Carlison lead a session on the major changes to FRS 102, which are set to transform financial reporting, focussing on the new revenue recognition model, now aligned with IFRS 15; lease accounting changes, which will bring all leases onto the balance sheet and explored the removal of IAS 39 for financial instruments, alongside the new disclosure requirements for supplier finance arrangements. He also highlighted the updates to business combinations and uncertain tax positions.
