We are delighted to host an exclusive behind the scene tour and gin tasting event at Suffolk Distillery, where guests will be guided through the process by a member of their distillery team who will provide tips on how to blend the ingredients to tailor a gin in your preferred style and help you to gain an in-depth appreciation of the craft and love needed to achieve this.
Program
- Welcome and safety briefing (drink and snacks provided)
- Under guidance from one of their distillery team start to distill your own gin in teams of 2 : select your own choice of botanicals provided, charge the still and initiate distillation which will take approximately 1 ½ hours to complete
Meanwhile
- Behind the scenes guided tour of our Craft Distillery
- Tasting: sample their range of spirits
- Make your own label for your bespoke gin
Then:
- Bottle and Label your Gin 2 x 350ml bottles (1 bottle per person in teams of 2)
- The bar and shop will be open for refreshments and as an opportunity to purchase their range of spirits
Gin Laboratory Experience - Mix miniature copper stills provide an enjoyable and sociable opportunity to distill a bespoke 700ml bottle of “one-shot” London Dry Gin produced with your own selection of fine ingredients. Either individually or with a partner, you will be guided through the process by one of their distillery team who will provide tips on how to blend the ingredients to tailor a gin in your preferred style and help you to gain an in-depth appreciation of the craft and love needed to achieve this. Whilst your gin is distilling you will also have an opportunity to take a behind the scenes look at our operations and to taste and sample our range of spirits.
The Tour & Tasting is a guided tour through their production facility with an explanation of the process for producing craft gins followed a by a tasting of our full range of 12 spirits & liqueurs with a talk about the history of gin.
