How are groups responding to the data, reporting and controls complexities associated with the OECD’s BEPS Pillar II rules? Attendees will hear about an initiative at Swiss Re. to calculate the related income, taxes and Effective Tax Rate on a jurisdictional basis across the group (which saw Swiss Re. win the Winmark Innovation Award 2023 in the Finance category). The tool allows Swiss Re. to understand the financial impact of the new rules on its business while demonstrating a commitment to ethical tax practices.
This discussion will be a chance to share other initiatives as well as explore the outstanding Pillar II challenges facing groups in scope now, or in the future.
