There is more to accounting than just numbers. Collaborating with other teams, working closely with our clients, and providing advice will also be part of your role. It is important to note that, even though numerical skills are an important part of your role, there are many other key skills we will be looking for.
In the second stage of the assessment centre, we will assess your aptitude for:
- Numerical reasoning
- Inductive reasoning
- Deductive reasoning
- Situational judgement - Taking responsibility, Working well in a team

MHA strives to uphold their 'STAR' values, and our assessment centre is a chance to see if you share them as well.
These are measured by completing the following exercises which can be held either face-to-face or virtually:
1. Group Exercise
- Case study testing your ability to grasp facts, debate and work as a team, work under pressure and interpret numerical information.
2. Presentation
- Individual exercise testing your ability to present, engage, research, answer questions, spot opportunities and provide solutions.

In order to ensure a fair process for each candidate, we provide a pack of questions for our interviewer to use.
