Sam joined MHA in January 2022 as a member of the Corporate Finance team. He began his career at KPMG, starting as an audit graduate and progressing to audit manager, where he worked with SMEs and managed FTSE-listed PLCs.
As a chartered accountant and member of ICAEW, Sam collaborates with many owner-managed businesses across various sectors and works alongside senior members of our team in delivering business disposals, acquisitions, MBOs/MBIs and debt/equity financing transactions alongside a wider range of strategic advisory projects.
When he joined the CF team in Manchester, the team was still relatively new. His initial discussions with Rob Holgate and Andy Feeke inspired him, particularly their vision for the Corporate Finance team's future, which excited Sam about the growth prospects and being part of the journey.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with his family, especially his two boys who keep him constantly active. Additionally, he captains his local rugby league team, the Chorley Panthers, and has been playing for over 25 years. He hopes to continue playing for many more years.
