Rowan is a Transaction Services Director at MHA, having joined the firm in September 2024. His career spans over two decades in the field, with previous roles including Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Associate Director at Grant Thornton from May 2021 to August 2024, and Transaction Services Director at RSM between September 2019 and March 2021. Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade at Grant Thornton, where he progressed through various advisory and TAS positions, following an initial start in audit both at Grant Thornton and Deloitte.
Rowan has extensive experience in Transaction Services, including buy-side financial due diligence (FDD), sell-side vendor due diligence (VDD), and refinancing/banking financial due diligence services. He typically advises on deals ranging from £5 million to £30 million, but has also supported larger transactions, including a £250 million sell-side VDD and a £180 million buy-side FDD. His expertise extends to related services such as completion accounts and vendor assist (VA) support. He has worked with a range of clients, including corporates, private equity (PE)-backed corporates, PE firms, and debt providers, and has sector experience with a recent focus on Manufacturing and Engineering, Omnichannel Retail (D2C businesses), and Technology.
A member of ACCA, Rowan is enthusiastic about his role at MHA, valuing the firm’s blend of rich history, strong brand, and forward-looking ambition. Outside of work, Rowan is a devoted husband and father of two boys, and much of his time revolves around their shared passion for football—whether playing, enjoying FIFA on the Xbox, managing Fantasy Premier League (FPL) teams, or supporting a certain football club (though he prefers to keep the team’s name under wraps!). Rowan also has some unique interests, including a prized Lego collection and a love for Portugal, which has inspired him to start learning Portuguese.
