Prior to joining MHA, Reinhardt was a Senior Audit Manager at Moore Johannesburg Inc., where he primarily focused on large international corporations and entities listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). In this role, his main focus was to deliver high-quality audit and assurance services for established entities, during which he developed his technical expertise.
Reinhardt currently serves as a Senior Audit Manager in the Thames Valley office, working closely with Kate Arnott in the professional practices sector. Together, they manage a diverse client portfolio, with turnover ranging from £1 million to £400 million.
His key focus area is larger multinational firms that often adopt IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
Reinhardt holds dual membership with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
In addition to his professional designations, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Sciences from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences from the same institution.
Reinhardt joined MHA almost by chance. Like many young professionals living in South Africa, he had considered moving to the UK for some time for career progression.
He began exploring the possibility of moving to England back in 2021, and a search for top mid-tier firms in the UK led him to MHA. He applied for an audit manager vacancy, initially not taking the process too seriously. However, when Kate Arnott and another partner interviewed him, he was immediately drawn to their openness, friendly personalities, and their shared goals of growing the firm while helping clients achieve growth as well.
Reinhardt has had the privilege of working with firms of varying sizes—from smaller ones with fewer than 100 staff to those in the “Big 4” with over 2,000 employees.
He has always enjoyed working with mid-tier firms, as they offer the technical expertise of any “Big 4” firm while maintaining the more personalised service of a small local accounting firm.
This was the key reason why he chose MHA and made the decision to move across the world after just one interview.
As someone born and raised in Africa, Reinhardt has a strong affinity for the environment and animals. He supports various charities focused on sustainability and anti-poaching efforts.
Like many South Africans, he is a sports enthusiast, loves cooking, and drinks enough coffee to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool. In addition, he is a proud dog owner and newly married.
When he is not at work, watching his team on the telly, walking his dogs, or standing in his garden cooking, he can be found at his local cricket club enjoying a laugh.
