In December 2022, Rachel joined MHA after the merger with Gerald Thomas, a Swansea-based firm. Rachel’s client portfolio includes various corporate entities, ranging from smaller, owner-managed businesses to large groups. Rachel leads the not-for-profit team in Swansea, leveraging her two decades of experience working with a diverse array of charities. Additionally, she possesses the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting.
Having qualified in 2001, she has over 20 years building her expertise in advising a broad range of owner managed businesses across various sectors in both compliance matters and advisory engagements. Rachel enjoys the challenge of solving business problems and uses her skills to provide assistance in a range of corporate finance issues, such as business valuations, business sales and other ad hoc assignments. Rachel also acts as an Expert Witness for legal advisers in providing an opinion on valuations, taxation advice and loss of profit/dependency claims in cases such as business disputes, matrimonial disputes and clinical negligence claims.
