Mike is a well known name amongst the professional community with over 30 years’ experience which has ranged from secondment to clients, dealing with the day to day challenges faced, through to heading up our Corporate Finance team in London and the South East. He has been awarded the "CF" designation by the ICAEW recognising his M&A experience since 1995.
Mike’s reputation and client base extends across the South East from the Thames Valley to East Anglia and from the South Coast up to the Midlands. He is regularly recommended by other professionals and clients for his simple and straightforward advice led approach - which he believes greatly increases the ability to understand, deliver and succeed - and his extensive knowledge of many industry sectors including leisure and hospitality, manufacturing and logistics.
Working with businesses of all sizes, Mike has a particular focus on entrepreneurial through to larger corporate clients, with many planning for future acquisitions, exits, buy outs and finance raising, drawing on his extensive knowledge in this area. He is frequently instructed by banks, to act on their behalf when considering lending propositions, and lawyers, in business valuation and commercial considerations linked to matrimonial and litigation matters.
Away from the office Mike can usually be found watching a game of rugby, when not working on his house renovation project, or enjoying a few glasses of fine wine. Unfortunately, all this has limited his ability to reduce his golfing handicap.
