Lee spent 6 years at HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) as a Manager and Trainer. His career then took him into practice working for small, medium and large accountancy and professional firms.
He has experience working on a wide range of tax projects in different and often, quite niche sectors, these include; non-resident matters with a focus on military contractors in the Middle East and North Africa, religious communities/ecclesiastical tax issues, corporate litigation and loss valuations in catastrophic injury and high value divorce cases, HMRC enquiries, Research & Development tax, plus large oil and gas industry multinationals.
At MHA Lee’s main focus is tax geared incentives including creative industries, Patent Box, R&D tax relief, plus corporate tax compliance services. He has particular expertise in the following industries/services:

Outside work Lee holds the role of a Magistrate for HM Courts and Tribunal Service, specialising in family matters/law.
