After studying at the University of Surrey, Jon trained on an ACCA graduate scheme at a smaller firm in Surrey, qualifying in 1999.
He has over 23 years’ experience in tax and joined MHA in January 2013, following the merger with HMT Assurance LLP. He joined HMT in January 2007, following a three-year period working in industry.
Jon was promoted to his current role of Senior Tax Manager in October 2022. He enjoys and undertakes a number of roles in the Thames Valley office, from heading up our payroll team to personal tax, corporation tax and VAT compliance.
Jon has gained experience and is extremely knowledgeable in most areas of taxation and can provide a comprehensive range of services and advice to a broad client base, from smaller owner-managed businesses to large companies. He can assist from the initial incorporation and set up phase to a full compliance service.
In his spare time, Jon has a keen interest in sport, mainly football and especially Reading Football Club and Formula One. He enjoys going to the cinema and getting to the gym on occasion.
