Colin joined the firm in 2019 as a Tax Partner and has operated at Partner level for more than 25 years. Specialising in the provision of tax advisory services and strategic business advice, Colin has a vast knowledge of all things tax related, including corporation tax, personal tax and shareholder tax planning. He also has experience in estate planning and working with the legal services sector.
A specific area of focus for Colin is on the provision of transaction tax advisory services ranging from business sales and acquisitions through to complex corporate restructurings. In this regard, Colin works closely with fellow Manchester partner Andrew Feeke and the Corporate Finance team.
Born and bred in Manchester, Colin spends his free time playing tennis, 5 a side football and being an ardent (but largely armchair!) Manchester City fan. In addition to sport, Colin also enjoys travelling, good food and spending time with the family.
