Our Corporate Finance team helps CitySprint expand its Manchester operations with new acquisition

The courier and transportation services provider, CitySprint has agreed a deal to purchase a Manchester-based same day courier company, EcoSpeed.
Established in 2005, the highly regarded business supplies urgent courier and transportation services across Manchester and the surrounding areas. The acquisition by CitySprint, part of DPDgroup is the next part of an ongoing growth strategy to acquire strong performing regional courier businesses.
The MHA MacIntyre Hudson Corporate Finance team led by Corporate Finance Partner and Transaction Services Leader, Rob Dando alongside Corporate Tax Partner, Chris Denning delivered both financial and tax due diligence services to help CitySprint facilitate a smooth acquisition of EcoSpeed.

Once the deal is finalised it will further strengthen CitySprint’s presence in the NorthWest of the UK. In return EcoSpeed clients will gain access to CitySprint's national delivery network operating from 30 sites across the UK.
