MHA MacIntyre Hudson expands Financial Services team with new Partner appointment

MHA MacIntyre Hudson (the UK member firm of Baker Tilly International) has appointed Shakeel Aslam as a new Partner to Head the Financial Services (Governance, Risk and Compliance) advisory and assurance function.

Shakeel has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry with expertise in the areas of governance, risk, compliance, controls and internal audit. He has advised and provided assurance for a wide range of multinational financial institutions, challenger banks, brokerage houses and payment providers across multi-disciplines both with in the UK and Internationally.

He has also worked on several key international projects in the Middle East and Southeast Asia within the Banking and Capital Markets sector.

At MHA MacIntyre Hudson his role will be focussed on further developing the growing portfolio of UK and global financial institutions that are advised by the team and will be based in the Firm’s London office.
