DPD UK completes acquisition of London courier company Absolutely with help from the MHA Corporate Finance Team

DPD UK, part of DPDgroup, Europe’s largest parcel delivery network has agreed a deal to purchase a London-based final mile courier company Absolutely.
Established in 1865, Absolutely operates across London and the South East, with a fleet of circa 200 couriers servicing more than 2,500 clients. The acquisition of Absolutely will allow DPD UK to meet the rising demand for same day delivery services and to consolidate their position as a market leader in the same day delivery market space.
The MHA Corporate Finance team led by Corporate Finance Partner and Transaction Services Leader, Rob Dando alongside Corporate Tax Partner, Chris Denning delivered specialist financial and tax due diligence services to enable DPD UK to acquire this widely-regarded courier.
This deal follows DPD UK’s acquisition of CitySprint in 2022, the UK’s premier same day delivery company and grants Absolutely customers access to CitySprint’s UK wide same day network as well as DPD UK’s domestic next day and international expertise.
